Brief Description:  Intersection Fairings - Removal and Finishing

Removed the right intersection fairing by inserting a plastic wedge between the gear leg fairing and the intersection fairing, and wheel pant fairing to separate the part. Used my Dremel cutoff wheel attached to air tool to carefully cut into the trailing edge of the fairing, allow me to slide the fairing off the gear leg moving it forward.

It's ugly in its raw form. Trimmed the edges using snips, then sanded using sanding block to smooth the edges.

Laid the part on some peel ply, insert a strip of peel ply into the trailing edge to keep the top and bottom parts from contacting, and applied several layers of epoxy. Repeated this process on the left fairing.
