Brief Description:  Intersection Fairings - Lay Up of Cloth and Epoxy

Applied car wax (Nu-Finish) paste to the gear leg and wheel pant fairing, including the intersection fairing mold. Mixed up a batch of the West two-part Epoxy Resin and Hardener. Wetted the gear leg, mold and pant fairing with the epoxy resin. Applied layers of the glass cloth to the wetted material, added more epoxy resin then additional layers to build up the intersection fairing until the fairing resembled what I wanted.

The instructions in the build plan say to insert a metal spacer between the upper and lower intersection trailing edge. I did not do this, instead I plan to make a cut here to separate the fairing at the trailing edge to remove for trimming, cleaning, filling, sanding and finishing.
