Decided it is time to fabricate the cover needed at the rear of the canopy skirt that covers the exit for the canopy rail. Used modelling clay to create the basic shape of the cover, and laid some fiberglass over the shape and allowed to cure.
Separated the cover from the form and trimmed. Test fitted on the canopy skirt, and quickly determined the basic shape is way too big for purpose. Cut down the form to a minimal shape and test fitted.
The cover is flimsy as is, I plan to add a mixture of epoxy and micro balloons to the underside, and sand the edges to get a nice fitting, then epoxy in place.
