Brief Description:  Canopy Skirt Rail Cover and Sanding, Prep

Sanded the canopy skirts where epoxy was used to fill the blind rivet holes, and the intersection of the right and left skirts at the rear. After test fitting and sanding the canopy skirt rail exit cover, clean the cover and skirt, and applied epoxy to both, clamping in place...

Decided I can proceed with adding epoxy layers to the windscreen fairing in common with the top skin to start the final build-up of 2 - 3 layers. Tinted the epoxy so that it will be easy to identify when sanding of the over lay on the yellow tape is occurring, and to help black out the reverse side when viewing from inside the cockpit. Added just one layer, will let it cure 24 hours before adding another. After the third layer, I can begin the process of sanding to final shape.

My plan is to hold off the sanding until I finish laying up the final fiberglass over the top of the windscreen fairing in common with the canopy plexiglass and canopy skirt.
