Brief Description:  Nut Plate Re-Do Right Console Cover

In order to match drill for the forward floor ramp angles through the console panels on both the left and right side console, the right console panel needed to be re-installed. During this process, I realized there was an issue with one of the nut plates, more specifically and screw would not engage. Upon further inspection, I realized there must be problem with the nut plate, so I drilled out the AD426 rivets attaching the nut plate.

I cleaned the rivet holes, and clecoed a new nut plate. Before riveting, I tested with an AN screw, no-go... At this point I realized the existing AD426 rivet holes for the nut plate are not aligned with the hole for the AN screw. After considering which fix to apply (decided against enlarging the AN screw hole, I filled the AD426 rivet holes with JB, will allow to set 24 hours at least before locating new holes for the AD426 rivets using the nut plate jig.

This was just a side track issue on my way to locating the holes for the nut plates to secure the forward seat ramp angles...
