Brief Description:  Avionics - Static - AOA and Pitot

Proceeded with the install of the static, AOA and Pitot lines to the Garmin ADAHRS and Dynon D6.
• Installed the Safe Air adapters for connecting the Static, AOA and Pitot lines to the Garmin and Dynon ADAHRS units. The Garmin has the T-adapters and the Dynon has the 90 degree L adapters. This arrangement seemed best since I planned to do this when I located the Garmin ADAHRS. IN other words, I did not want the Garmin ADAHRS and Dynon facing each other, not enough room for the interconnect lines.
• Identified and marked the static, AOA and Pitot ports on the Garmin ADAHRS and Dynon D6, put a triangle piece of colored electrical tape in each port so there’s not much chance I’ll connect the wrong line. The lines are white (static), blue (AOA) and green (Pitot).
• Routed the static line as it passes through the back left side of the instrument panel to the Garmin ADAHRS, trimmed the line using the anvil cutter.
• Connected the static line to the Garmin ADAHRS.
• Measured and cut the static line from the Garmin ADAHRS to the Dynon
• Installed the static line from the Garmin to the Dynon.
• Routed the AOA and Pitot lines through the spar box , under the console where the fuel filter is located into the left gear leg tower, then up the gear leg tower where they exit at the top most lightening hole, match up to the static line and head off towards the Garmin ADAHRS.
• Determined the length to cut for the AOA and Pitot lines, cut with the anvil cutters, and installed both in the Garmin ADHARS.
• Measured and cut AOA and Pitot lines for the interconnect to the D6, and installed.
