Brief Description:  Avionics - ADAHRS and EIS Installation

Finalized the installation method for the ADAHRS and EIS...

Since I am using AN3 bolts for mounting the ADAHRS and EIS to the brackets, I located the needed nut plates required (8) total, 4 for each mounting bracket pair for the ADAHRS and EIS.

Due to general lack of foresight on my part, I did not make the mounting brackets long enough to use 'plain' K1000-08 nut plates, I need some K2000-08, and also I found some MK1000-08, which will work nicely. Used a combo of K1000-08 and K2000-08 on the ADAHRS brackets, and used the MK1000-08 for the EIS.
• Located the holes for the nut plates, generally secure the nut plate to the bracket using a AN3-4 bolt, and used the nut plate as a #40 drill guide.
• Countersunk the #40 holes for the nut plates on the face of the mounting brackets.
• Cleaned and deburred edges.
• Reassembled the brackets and nut plates.
• Riveted nut plates using pneumatic squeezer using AN426 3-3.5
• Installed the brackets on the aft side of the baggage compartment skin using the AN8R8 screws, washers into the mounted nut plates (earlier work)....
• Installed the ADAHRS and EIS using AN3 bolts (AN3-10 for ADAHRS, AN3-4 for EIS) with AN960-10 washers.
