Brief Description:  Rudder Bottom Cap Fitting

As part of a fix for the tail wheel rod mounting fixture WD-409, I send Vans support the standard kit, (pics and explanation) for the mis-drilled AN4 bolt on the top left (when viewed from the rear of the aircraft), I added two AN3 bolts between the 2 AN4 bolts, as shown in Pic 3.

Ken at Van's says "Obviously we have not tested this arrangement, but it should be more than substantial enough." That’s good to know because replacement of the WD-409 would be quite a task...

Started working on the rudder bottom cap, I plan to have a tail light in the rudder, so I'll need a way to run the wires through the cap into the airframe. Created an center hole to allow for the rudder travel.

When testing fitting the cap, I found the cap scrubbed against the two AN3 bolts I added as part of the fix for the WD-409 issue, Decided to create cut-outs so the AN3 bolt heads do not interfere with the cap.
