Brief Description: Fuel System - Valve Cover Plate
Installed the fuel valve cover plate.
In the interest of safety, I decided to use the 'deluxe' cover plate for the fuel valve so there is no question at all as to which tank is in use.
• Used the template I previously made which marked the index for the proper left-right position of the fuel valve, Took the opportunity to re-orient a bit so that left and right detents are roughly 45% off the center line of the fuse, as this was not the case originally. • I already painted the console cover with holes for the fuel valve and required AN4 bolts based on the original location of the fuel valve, I did not know if the valve cover plate would hide this fact, it does... • Using the template, drilled the holed on the cover plate for the AN4 bolts, which go through the console cover and through the fuel valve fitting to secure it all in place. • Test fitted the cover plate, console and fuel valve.
All looks good.
