Brief Description: Mixture and Throttle Rod End Bearing Linkage Redo
Spent some time reviewing the mixture and throttle rod end bearing linkages to the bendirx rsa fuel servo. The plans are drawn for a carb set-up, and initially a little confusing when using a vertical draft fuel injection servo.
The mixture rod end bearing was not very happy with the angle of attack to the mixture arm of the fuel servo. Created a spacer to correct this issue, and installed. Now the mixture cable operates the mixture control with any binding and operates stop-to-stop with no issues.
The throttle rod end bearing wahser situation was backwards per the plans, re-arranged per plans, and the throttle control operation still operates stop-to-stop as required.
Remains to be seen how well the other end of the engine control cables work with the control quadrant in the cockpit.
Redo if the Mixture Linkage, added spacer so rod end bearing is happier
Throttle Linkage redo, re-arranged washers per plans.
