Brief Description:  Fuel Line Boost pump to Firewall

To install the fuel line from the boost fuel pump to thje firewall, removed the engine mount to get a straight shot with the step drill. First made a pilot hole from the line side of the firewall using the fuel line to mark the location on the firewall. Made the pilot hole with #40, them re-sized with #30.

Next removed the engine mount cotter pins, nuts and bolts to remove the mount. This gave me an opportunity to inspect the entire mount, and dress up the mount where appropriate. Next step drilled the hole for the 90 degree elbow connector for the fuel line, and installed the connector using the 6D spacer and retaining nut.

Next marked on the fuel line where to trim for size... this presented a problem, of course. The trim location would not leave enough straight line to flare the end... so, made a new line using the old as a template, but with enough straight run to flare both ends. Installed the sleeves and connectiors, and flared. Perfect fit between the boost pump and firewall...
