Brief Description: Control Stick cleaning and pre-assembly
I cleaned out the grit left over from the sand-blasting and painting of the parts. The pivots are plain collars made from tubing with the control stick torque tube inside them, and this bearing surface needs to be very clean and lightly lubed for smooth operation. I chose to use Boeshield in these areas because it dries to a thin waxy film and doesn't run or collect dirt.
I also test-fit the sticks into the torque-tube and checked the fit on the fuselage.
