I cleaned out bearing surfaces with solvent and compressed air to remove grit left over from the factory, probably from the sand-blasting and painting work. I lubed the rotating parts with Boeshield T-9.
I measured 5" aft of the firewall for the centerline of the pedal axis, and made sure the pedals were centered on the fuselage mounted tabs for the master cylinders.
I drilled and deburred the 3/16" holes for the mounting bolts, and mounted the pedals with AN3 bolts and AN365 stop nuts.
