Brief Description:  Dimpling Horizontal Stabilizer Skins

Here is close up shots of the dimples in the edge of the HS skin. Note that dimpling is done after clecoing the skin to the HS skeleton and match drilling every hole to #40 and deburring. I used my pneumatic squeezer to dimple the edge holes. It takes about 2 to 3 seconds per hole.

All edge holes are dimpled because the yoke on my pneumatic squeezer can reach them easily. For the holes in the middle of the skin surface, I use a c-frame tool to do the dimpling. The c-frame is a little tougher to use unless you have some extra hands to hold the skin apart.
