Brief Description: Elevator Rib Location Preparation
After priming the inside of the elevator skins and rear spars in a previous step, I removed the masking that covered the areas where the trailing edge ribs are located.
I scuffed the rib locations using 150 grit aluminum oxide sandpaper, then cleaned the scuffed areas with rubbing alcohol. This will provide a nice surface for the proseal to adhere and will hold the ribs in place.
