Brief Description: Horizontal Stabilizer Rear Spar Assembly Part 1
I riveted the rear spar doubler to the horizontal stabilizer rear spar using a combination of AN426AD4-6 flush rivets and AN470AD4-6 universal head rivets.
I riveted the elevator hinge brackets to the rear spar using AN470AD4-5 universal head rivets. There are four positions where these brackets are used. So that's eight brackets in total.
I used my pneumatic rivet squeezer to set all the rivets except for the flush head rivets. Hand squeezing flush rivets seemed to produce better results. I tired using the pneumatic squeezer on the first flush rivet but didn't like the results. So I drilled it out and switched to the hand squeezer.
