Brief Description: Rudder Dimpled Skins, Stiffeners, and Ribs
I dimpled the rudder skins, stiffeners, ribs, and other parts that make up the rudder assembly. This amounted to about 950 dimples. I used my pneumatic rivet squeezer for the holes in the skins around the edges, and the ribs and stiffeners. I used my C-Frame dimpler and dimpler table for the holes in the skins that could not be reached with the pneumatic squeezer. All the holes were dimpled for 3/32 flush rivets.
The next step is to clean, etch, and prime all the rudder parts and skins.
