I clecoed the VA-140 trailing edge to the right rudder skin and marked it to be trimmed to the correct length. The trailing edge comes from Van's about 8 inches longer than the length of the skins.
After the trailing edge was trimmed to the correct length, I clecoed the left and right rudder skins, and the trailing edge, to the rudder structure to make sure everything fit together nicely. The fit was pretty good. I had to radius the forward flanges of the top rib and counterbalance rib a little more to get the left and right skin flanges to fit better around these ribs.
