I clecoed the rudder spar reinforcement plates, rudder horn, and bottom rib to the rudder spar and final drilled #30 all the holes common to these parts. I disassembled everything and deburred all the holes that were drilled. The edges of these parts were also deburred.
I fluted the flanges of the counterbalance rib and the top rib to straighten out the slight curvature in the web of the ribs. The sharp edges on the forward flanges were radiused to ease the fit when the skins are installed. The edges of both ribs were also deburred.
