Today I primed the rear spar doubler. This was the last part to be primed for the vertical stabilizer. Now I can finish riveting everything together.
I'll let the primer cure for a day before riveting. Then I'll rivet the parts that make up the rear spar assembly. This includes the rear spar, rear spar doubler, and hinge brackets that will connect the rudder to the vertical stabilizer.
Once this is done, I'll rivet the skin to the vertical stabilizer spars and ribs.
