Brief Description: Gascolator, contactors, fuel line
Cut copper bar to size and drilled holes for connecting the battery contactor with the starter contactor. Temporarily attached but nuts not tightened down. Left extra at the bottom for other potential connections. Trial fit AN fitting to gascolator for position. Had to rotate inlet fitting 180 degrees, punched around all four screws to secure. Riveted gascolator brackett to firewall. Attached gascolator to brackett and screwed in AN 90 degree fitting to inlet side through firewall hole. Used fuel lube on AN fitting. Began fabricating fuel line tubing between fuel pump and gascolator fitting. Approximated the distance and cut to length. Flared the end toward the fuel pump and trial fit. Used tubing bender and finally got the right curves to make the connection. Cut and flared other end and attached using fuel lube. Once all connections made I put on some torque seal. Also safety wired bolts holding the gascolator to the bracket.
