Brief Description:  Wiring...

Bought some replacement .063 male pins for the GPS molex connectors. Cut off all old ones including the crimped splices I had put in there to shorten things up. My crimper is a little too big in the length dimension for the insulator and wire crimps but after trying 3 of them I got the hang of it. Crimped on 4 new pins to the wires and placed them into the connector and connected it to the female side. Based on the hassle of this one I will not shorten up the other GPS wire and just wrap up any extra length. Also received my shipment from Stein today which included some spiral wrap for wires. I wrapped all the wires and the coax coming up the passenger side and secured it to the fuel tank vent tubing and then the zip tie mount I had riveted onto the forward gussetat the firewall and zip tied it in. I'm glad I did this as it makes a much nicer job than what I had. Reworked the power and ground wires to the electric primer pump and shortened them up and rerouted them slightly to the firewall pass through on the forward side of the firewall. I connected the primer power wire to the VP-400 J8 P4 position. Have to investigate the alternator wiring a little tonight to make sure I have that right.
