Brief Description:  ADS-B antenna and wiring

Installed the ADS-B antenna on the bottom of the fuselage behind the baggage compartment. It is in line with but forward of the Marker Beacon antenna. Decided to fabricate a vertical piece of aluminum angle to stiffen up the angles that span the longerons which hold the ADAHRS and GADAHRS modules. It is the piece seen in the center of picture number 2. It is pop riveted in but provides a lot more strength to the assembly. Screwed the large pushrod back on for the elevator to look at clearance and it will be fine. Worked on strobe system wiring. First I crimped on a ring terminal for the shield wire that dumps RF to ground and attached to a mounting screw at the top of the strobe box. I then pulled power and ground wires through the conduit in the fuselage for the power supply and ground to the strobe box. Crimped splice connectors onto the wires adn zip tied everything in place. Added some rubber cushion and zip tied the white static tubing to the vertical angle and also added some rubber protection on the static tubing where the seat belt cable crosses over it. I reconfigured the Skyview network harness d-sub connector which I discovered last week I had put the pins in the wrong holes in the connector. Once that was complete I reinstalled the connector to the Skyview network hub.
