Brief Description: Fuselage Bottom - Trim and Prep
I elected to remove the 2 x 4 backup structure from the fuselage bottom. I did this by carefully cutting through the bondo blobs with my Fien tool. I also left the bottom foam wide (flush with the fuselage sides) for the layup. This gave me a nice margin on the layup to trim off. I used my jig saw to cut the width down so that the edges will be flush with the edge of the stringers. The bottom is basically ready to be bonded to the fuselage now.
