Cut the eight foam plug pieces to plug the rectangular cut outs made in the fuselage sides (eight plugs).
I adjusted all the fits with sanding blocks. Once they fit good I pressed them in place to imprint the bolts and nuplates. I then releaved the backs of the plugs for the nutplatesbolts so that the plugs would sit on the nutplate aluminum plates. This left the plugs about 1/8 high to the sides (thickness of the plates).
I then slurreyed the foam plugs and cut outs, mixed up some micro and buttered everything up and pushed the plugs into position.
