Brief Description: LH Fuselage Side Lower Longeron Doubler
Removed the clamps and cleaned up the lower longeron from yesterday's bonding. Cut the short triagular lower doubler and transistioned the forward end on the miter saw. I used nails to help anchor the doubler while clamp pressure was applied. I protected the clamps with peel ply. I mixed up 40 grams of resin with 16 grams regular hardener. I rough sanded both wood surfaces to be bonded, vacuumed and then gave them an acetone wipe. Once that flashed off I painted a coat of pure epoxy on both bonding surfaces and then used the rest of the resin to mix with flox. I applied the wet flox with a zip lock bag icing bag. Wood was postioned and clamped, excess flox wiped away and allowed to cure.
