Bonded the upper longeron and tapered longeron doubler into position. The plans have you do this while the two ply laminate skins are still tacky. I opted not to do that and I am glad I did. By waiting for it to cure it allowed more precise placement and clamping pressure without worrying about upsetting the uncured skin plys. The longerons are bonded using wet flox. I pre-sanded the longeron surfaces to be bonded with course sandpaper, vacuumed them, then wet them with a wet cloth to open the pores (my Tech Counselor recommended this approach). After they had dried for half the day (while I was at work), they were ready to bond. I pre wet the fuselage side and the wood surfaces with pure epoxy, then mixed the remaining epoxy with the flox. I applied the flox to the wood and then positioned and clamped it. Wood clamps are protected from bonding with peel ply, wood blocks have packing tape on the bottom surface. Hopefully all the clamps and blocks will release!
Six pumps of epoxy for this step (probably could have used five)
