My tech counselor and friend Gary came over to help me with my first larger layup. It was very helpful to have an experienced guy helping me. We got through the two ply uni layups in aobut two hours after plotting out our plan for about 15 or 20 minutes. Gary convinced me to peel ply the entire layup, luckily I had enough on hand. You can see the two lines near the middle of the part which are the 30 degree reference lines located at approximately the seams. These parts can be done with two peices with the edges butted together (not overlapped).
Notes for RH side, about 14 pumps of resin for the micro mix (two batches of 7 pump) First ply of uni took about 15 pumps with some left over for the second ply. Another 15 or so pumps got us through the second ply and peel ply layers. Something close to that anyway - memory rather than actual notes!
