When I originally built the wing cradle, I placed the end support post to high. Not a big deal back then but, now that I am about ready to rivet on the two bottom skins, the rails will be in my way.
This morning I needed to raise the wings in the cradle so that I could remove the support post and trim off five inches in height. There were a few options as to how to do this & in the end I used my sturdy ladder as a support tree. This allowed me to confidently raise the wings, in unison, & feel confident that they would not fall to the concrete & sustain damage.
Now a final "triple check" of the plans to ensure everything is ready to be enclosed & then back to riveting skins.
