Brief Description:  We Have Rotation...

Spent the day troubleshooting the reason for a popping circuit breaker within the engine start system. Found one misplaced wire that was mistakenly fastened to the wrong terminal on the starter solenoid. Also found a slightly loose connection at the key switch. After adjusting everything & also connecting a fully charged battery to the circuit - we now have rotation.

I only cranked the unplugged engine for 10-12 seconds. I did not note any oil pressure on the gauge. However, after chatting with a few hangar dogs at KAKR they all agree that I'd likely need more cranks to get a reading. I did note that my five quarts on mineral oil added to the sump now reads only four on the dip stick. So it must be filling the oil cooler. I'll add another quart in the morning & give it another spin.
