Over the past several days I have been struggling with my exterior lighting system. Paul, the owner of Flyleds, was extremely helpful, if not instrumental, in getting me through the process.
After several rounds of trial & error I elected to ditch the temporary screw terminal Dsub connector I was using & moved forward with hard wiring my circuit board connection leads. By using a male (push to insert) Dsub connector, purchased through Stein Air, all the connections instantly became much more solid.
The panel is powered through a 12v-30w power supply & when I energized it - I hoped for the best. As I flipped each light switch on, one-by-one, the results were rewarding. Everything worked. The big plus.., all previous pain-in-the-butt cat & mouse issues were resolved.
