Spent the last few days researching, corresponding & fiddling with my Flyleds lighting system. As a massive sub-zero cold front moves its way out into the Atlantic, I was finally able to get back to the hangar to reposition the LED Strobe Controller board. I had initially mounted it under the right side of the panel, but now see by the length of several wires supplied by Stein Air that it is generally mounted under one of the seats. I chose to mount it under the pilot's seat; as the wire lengths directed me to go that route.
I am awaiting delivery of a male D-sub connector to mate 8 wires to the controller board. Flyleds supplies you with a soldering type male D-sub. I do not care for those & would rather not use them in this circumstance.
