For a while now, I have been putting off repairing a very slow leak in the left main tire. Since the wing is not yet attached, I can now easily jack up the gear & fix the issue. But, what about after the wing is installed? Wing jacks make a simple task a bit more tricky. To be pro-active I have purchased Flyboy Accessories Jack Point RV14A (https://flyboyaccessories.com/product/rv-jack-points-rv-14a).
With slight modification to the wheel pant's inner mounting bracket the jack point will then simply slide into the gear hub to become a focal point to lift the gear.
Re-installed the mounting brackets, safety wired the assembly, reapplied friction tape as required. Will test the jack point when it is delivered next week.
I am fairly confident that this upgrade will simplify my life sometime in the future.
