Spent time attempting to figure out why the white & red strip lights when wired through the 3-way selector switch will not illuminate. Wired direct, they work fine. Puzzling for a simple 12vdc circuit. Time to call in the troops.
Tim at Stein Air educated me on this one. It appears that some strip light vendors in their manufacturing process use a positive to ground circuit whereas others use a negative to ground. Stein Air wired my panel’s 3-way selector switch for the strip lights they sell, negative to ground. Vans Aircraft, however, sold me the positive to ground strip lights. Puzzle solved.
