Electronics & I do not get along. If I can't see it, touch it, fiddle with it - I usually do not understand it.
But every day is a learning day - so I moved forward & tackled the latest upgrade install for the GDU460 screens & the GTN750Xi navigator. The primary reason I wanted to do the update early in the game was an attempt to fix a failure flag with the transponder. It was not energizing. After rechecking all the connections & finding no issues, I telephoned Tim at Stein Air. He suggested that I first update the systems software & sure enough; that fixed the problem.
