Brief Description: Vic - I Believe my Nuts are Tight...
Remove the 16 nuts & washers from the main spar attachment bolts. Cleaned them & the threads of the bolts & then re-installed the hardware. Calculated the average friction torque of both the 3/8 & 1/2" nuts. The 3/8" nuts were negligible but, the 1/2" nuts came in at 4.5 foot pounds.
Proceeded to torque the 3/8" nuts, in my usual 3 step increment process, to 175 inch pounds & then torqued the 1/2" nuts to 80 foot pounds; which included the friction average torque value. Allowed the bolts to rest for a bit then re-checked/verified torque. Applied torque seal.
