Brief Description: Stall Warning & Aileron Trim Control...
Vans pre-drills two holes in the leading edge of the left wing as a cut-out guide. The area requires a small amount of enlargement to accommodate the stall warning vane assembly. However, our aircraft has the Garmin G3X panel & the stock stall warning unit is not needed, so I spent a bit of time closing up the holes internally with some fiberglass cloth & resin. Once cured, I will fill the exterior blemish with filler.
I elected to trash the aileron servo's micro-Molex connector & attached a CPC-9 pin connector I had lying about. The unit is now ready to bench test.
