Reviewed section 62 of the plans for the installation of the magnetometer. The unit is fitted into the left wing & wired though the WH-00125L fuselage harness. The install appears fairly straight forward but, the puzzle was finding that connection point off the harness. I had a couple Molex connectors available but, that wasn't correct. Finally it dawned on me that the connection is through the left wing's wiring harness & then into the fuselage harness. I also discovered that Vans does not supply the assembler with the magnetometer’s upper & bottom support brackets. Hence - another order placed at VansAircraft.com.
