Brief Description: Installation of VOR Antenna in Right Wing Tip.
Installed the VOR antenna in the right wing tip. This meant removing five previously installed nutplates, match drilling those holes in the antenna & reinstalling the nutplates.
When I worked on the wing tip a few months ago, I was unaware that the antenna required a good ground plane attachment point to the wing, in order to have any range. Not a biggie in removing the nutplates.
Also attached a BNC connector to the 15' of coaxial cable I will plumb from the GTN 750Xi to the antenna.
