Spent some time practicing the connection of straight & 90-degree BNC connectors to RG400 coaxial cable. There are two YouTube videos covering this topic that I found very useful.

After a few attempts, the process became a bit easier & in the end; successful. Each connector was firmly attached to the RG400 & both tested to have no internal shorts. The 90-degree connector does require a small amount of soldering in order to attach the inner core to the male contact. The TNC connectors are attached to the RG400 using the same procedure as with the BNC connectors. No soldering required.
