Brief Description: Plan B - Shrink Wrap Shortage...
Planned to wire the EGT & CHT probes for cylinders 1 and 3 today but, discovered I need to order more heat shrink wrap. So, I moved on to wiring the manifold pressure sensor. I thought I'd butt-splice these connections, but regrouped & went back to using my originally planned by using "knife splice" disconnect terminals.
Using heat shrink on each sensor's lead (3ea), then wrapping those leads in a larger outer band of heat shrink makes for a firm connection & eases replacement; should a sensor ever go bad.
I also connected knife splice disconnect terminals to the sensor side of the fuel & oil pressure units in preparation for their completion tomorrow.
