From 6/27 through 7/4, I have been working laying out the best location for the remote avionic boxes; particularly on the pilot's side. The GMA245 (audio panel) & the GTR20 (comm) have been planned out by Stein Air to lay stacked & horizontally between the panel & subpanel. However, I see little room to accomplish this since the GD40, GEA24 & GAD27 are also mounted to the left subpanel. When all these boxes are mounted & their respective harnesses connected - it's just not doable (IMO). So.., after many iterations & various configurations of different brackets, supports, etc., I elected to stack & mount the GMA245 & GTR20 "vertically", not horizontally.
The trial & errors shall continue, but I now see a bit of the runway environment through the fog.
