Brief Description: Raise Aircraft on Jacks. Work Nose Pant Assembly
While lying out the alignment markings for the nose gear wheel pant, I found I did not have the aircraft jacked up high enough to take pressure off the nose. Once the plane was up another 3/4' and the nose tire rotated with moderate ease; all became well. Slight roll alignment and then back to crawling around on the concrete floor to relocate the alignment marks.
Attached spherical magnets by applying a dab of super glue to the interior side of the mounting bracket. This will later aid in locating the wheel pant screw entry points for match drilling.
