Brief Description: Installation of 5" Scat Tube to Oil Cooler
What was to be a simple job turned quickly into a pain in the butt. Why Vans elected to go with a rectangular connection point for a round hose is puzzling.
At any rate, preforming/bending the lower hose clamp to the rectangular shape (as instructed in the plans) aided in properly securing the scat hose to the oil cooler assembly. In the end, not a problem as it's just another day of learning something new..!
