I began going over everything around the engine checking all the connections, fittings and wiring looking for anything incorrect or overlooked. Everything looked good during this examination. One area that I heard could become a problem with time is that the worm clamps can sometimes vibrate loose. I used these clamps on the heater hose and a few other connections. I decided to safety wire these as a precaution.
A simple fix is to wrap safety wire around the screw and through the screwdriver slot on the top of the screw. These should now be secure.
I also put another coat of black textured paint on the glareshield.
