I reinstalled the oil cooler onto the left rear baffels. Some builders have had problems with cracking of the oil cooler flange, so I installed spacers and washers to spread the load of the securing bolts. This seems to prevent the cracking of the flange. I also reinstalled the reinforcement bracket between the engine and the rear baffel at the oil cooler. The weight of the oil cooler mounted on the rear baffel has caused some cracking to the baffels in this area. It seems to be due to vibration and the weight of the oil and cooler. By using this support bracket I hope to stabilize the bafffel area and prevent these problems. The rear baffel area is very secure now.
