I finished manfacturing the bracket for the alternate air control cable and riveted it in place. The control cable now rotates the alternate air door forward and the cable does not interfere with the cowl. The alternate door will open fully when I have the cable completely mounted in the instrument panel.
I also drilled the firewall and installed a stainless steel pass through for the alternate air control cable and the purge valve control cable.
