While installing the rubber seal to the lower HS fairing, I had to remove and install the empennage fairing a couple of times and noticed that the fiberglass around the lower forward screw hole was starting to break down. The fiberglass in this area is thin and is not holding up well. I decided to beef up this area with a few layers of fiberglass, and also will extend this edge downward an additional 3/4 inch which will assist in holding the forward end of the rubber fairing seal in place.
