Once the tank cover is removed, the SB calls for drilling a hole in the nut that holds the fuel pickup. After reinstalling the fuel pickup, safety wire is then installed which prevents this nut from rotating. Then I installed the fuel level sensor using fuel tank sealant. This was repeated on both wing tanks.
