Brief Description:  Countersunk Foward HS Spar

Today I countersunk the forward spar flanges of the HS. It took longer than I expected; and of course I messed up about four of them. I don't think it is a big deal because there are at least a hundred holes on each side of the HS spar flange. I am tired of having these little goofs that bother me. I know intellectually that there is a surplus of structural integrity to allow for little hiccups like this, but I just wish that my craftsmanship was better so that I could avoid these issues. I am thinking that a drill press properly set-up would work nice because I could ensure that the countersinking bit is going perpendicular to the face. I am going to consider buying one before I do the more visible aft spar. Didn't work on the kit as much this weekend as I should have, but we went down to Fredericksburg TX yesterday. I always said I wasn't going to let the kit take over my life, but I need to put forth more consistent effort than I have been.
